Generally speaking, Power Attack (Using 5 stamina each) should be more effective than Attack (using 1 stamina each). But how true is this statement?

In order to make myself clear, i have run a test on a Lotus slaying mission and the result turns out that the statement is true.

Firstly, I Attack (using 1 stamina each) for 5 times and the damage recorded as below.

Secondly, I Power Attack (using 5 stamina each) for 5 times and the damage recorded as below.

Averagely, Attack (using 1 stamina each) dealt 3074 damages per stamina point while Power Attack (using 5 stamina each) dealt 3416 damages per stamina point. It means extra 11% of damages per stamina point were done using Power Attack (using 5 stamina each).

Hence, you are strongly advised to Power Attack in order to damage more effectively!

Facebook Game Review: Castle Age - Part VIII - Battle with Demi Points Earning

To play this game more effectively, we need to link all the related context together with feasible strategy.

One of the important strategy to play around with battling is to battle to the right demi alignment player in order to gain 10 demi points from each demi type each day.

Once you enter the battle tab, you will be notified that "Once a day you can Earn Ten Demi Points of each type by battling, You can earn a demi point every time you defeat a person of that demi alignment."

You could also see that each Demi type points earned today starting from 0 to 10 points (Maximum you could earn for each type in a day). Upon winning each invade/duel for each type, 1 point will be added to that respective demi alignment. Take note that the demi alignment of each player is display right after the player avatar as shown above.

Before you decided to invade/duel with any player, do take note of how many points you have gained for each demi alignment for the day in order to maximize gaining 10 points each for all Demi Power. Following this strategy, you would be able in increase the demi point gaining effectively.

Another benefit of following this strategy is the demi points gained through battling will be added directly to all of the Demi Power total points in order to redeem the reward faster.

Facebook Game Review: Castle Age - Part VII - Deathrune Campaign Raid

One of the hottest action in castle age currently is the recently introduced Deathrune Campaign Raid. The raid must be concluded within the specific time given, with Call to Arms function to launched the summon weapon, which is pretty straight forward as the other monster slaying mission.

However, there are four type of raid option but which one we should go for?
Below are the options that we should choose with different priority:

1) Invade - When to choose this?
Pro: Increase your invasion won in battle achievement without wasting extra 4 stamina point
Con: You might need to exercise your finger excessively by continuous clicking on the invade button

2) Invade x5 - When to choose this?
Pro: Contribute 5x damage to the raid with one click while indirectly increasing your battle achievement
Con: Wasting the potential of 4 stamina point for the invasion won in the battle achievement

3) Duel - When to choose this?
Pro: Increase your duels won in battle achievement without wasting extra 4 stamina point
Con: You might need to exercise your finger excessively by continuous clicking on the duel button

4) Duel x5 - When to choose this?
Pro: Contribute 5x damage to the duel with one click while indirectly increasing your battle achievement
Con: Wasting the potential of 4 stamina point for the duels won in the battle achievement

If you are not sure on how to go to the battle achievement page, you will firstly need to navigate to the keep page, follow by the Achievements tab and eventually Battle Achievements as shown below.

Facebook Game Review: Castle Age - Part VI - Demi Power Blessing Tips

One of the interesting element of this game is you are able to pray to Demi Power to get their blessing and being rewarded with different weapon/item/magic/energy potion/unlock demi quest. You really need a couple of months in order to complete all the Demi Power blessing because they are 5 different Demi Power which only allowed your praying once a day for Ambrosia, Malekus, Corvintheus, Aurora and once every 2 day for Azeron.

To access to the Demi Power, you need to navigate your page to Oracle, follow by Demi-Power Tab as shown below.

You might be wondering the ultimate reason for you to pray to Demi Power constantly.
It's simply because:
1) each prayer will increase 1 point for your Energy/Attack/Defense/Health/Stamina
2) the final reward for some Demi Power will be the strongest equipment during Duel/Monster attack.
3) the unlocked Demi quest will be a method for you to gain upgrade points to upgrade any of your stats

These strongest equipment for related category are as below:

Off-Hand: Sword of Redemption [+50atk, +30def]
Amulet: Moonfall Amulet [+40atk, +40def]
Spell: Tempest Storm [+17atk, +10def]

While the other category strongest equipment are obtained from monster loot drops/alchemy from several ingredients, which will be discussed during the subsequent post.

However, different preference will lead to prioritization of Demi Power praying. For instance, if you would like to have the most fancy Off-hand equipment fastest the possible, you would be considering to start your praying journey to Azeron.

Another deciding factor would be your availability. If you foresee yourself won't be able to log in to this game within the next 48 hour, you might consider praying to Azeron instead of other Demi Power that allowed your to pray every 24 hour.

Facebook Game Review: Castle Age - Part V - Income with increment tips

Income is very important in this game because without income, your won't be having enough money to buy fansy weapon/item/magic to equip your army and become stronger every hour!

The income for this game is calculated by hour basis, different land will entitled you with different income per hour. However, the maximum quantity of land that is available for you to purchase are according to your level. The higher level you are, you can buy more land, which generates more income per hour. For example, I am at level 211 when i am publishing this post and my maximum quantity of each land is 220 pieces. You are advised to purchase the maximum allowed land for your level in order to maximize the income per hour.

Below is the land available for purchase and its income per hour generated.

To further increase the income per hour, you are strongly advised to equip your General with Cid or Mercedes before you log out from facebook. It's because Cid will increase your income by 4% while Mercedes will increase your income by 5% hourly! Imagine how much more income you could have generated without a doing anything extra!

Below are the heroes that i mentioned to increase your income per hour. However, you must make sure both of your heroes have been upgraded to Level 4 to enjoy this benefit.

Facebook Game Review: Castle Age - Part IV - The Myth of Cronus

If you have been playing this game for sometime, you probably have been exploring to battle one of the most famous world monsters - Cronus, The World Hydra.

I would rate this world monster as the MUST battle monster due to several reasons.

Firstly, the Loot drops are simply amazing! Most of the loot drops belongs to Soldier item, which is actually extremely helpful because the normal soldier items that is available in the town for purchase is having lower attack/defense compared to any of the soldier loot drops from this monster.
(Refer below for the loot drops)

Secondly, all of these loot drops are zero upkeep cost! Most of the high attack/defense soldier items are very high upkeep cost. The highest upkeep cost can goes up to $7,000 per item an hour! If you could perform a simple mathematics, you are actually loosing $7,000 income per hour! Which is a big disadvantage and i strongly recommend you focus on getting more zero upkeep cost soldier item which is higher in attack/defense as well. For instance, if all of your 500 soldiers are equipped with Archangel (the highest attack/defense soldier available for purchase upon unlock with High General battle rank) , you will be loosing $ 3,500,000 every hour! This is simply ridiculous for me!

Thirdly, there are flexibility for you to create Cronus, the world hydra (the highest attack/defense soldier currently) as your soldier upon collecting five of the hydra element as shown below.

However, you might consider keeping each hydra element instead of combining them to form Cronus if you are not reaching your capped army quota yet. It's simply because there is no rush for you to form Cronus yet since you have not fully utilize the empty soldier slot and each single hydra element could actually save you up to $7,000 upkeep cost per hour comparing to Archangel. But I would recommend you to create as many Cronus as possible if you have reached the max army quota because it will helps to increase your overall attack/defense drastically if you have quite a number of Cronus on hand.

Facebook Game Review: Castle Age - Part III - Hero

Why is Hero important?
It's important because when you are battling, you will be allowed to bring all your heroes available with you. (Provided that your level has been gained)
Besides that, you will also need to equip your best hero for duel battle to win.

For every new mission you unlock, you will unlock new hero with different capability and the potential to upgrade them by +3 points each in attack and defense. When you achieve higher level and secure more income per hour, you have the money to purchase weapon/item/magic and hero too!

One of the constraints that the higher level player faced is insufficient army member to bring along to the battle field (capped at 500 army max). At this point, hero becomes important because if you have one more hero, it means your total attack and defense will be increased accordingly.

One of the tricky part of hero is you can actually increased your max 500 army to 520 army provided you have purchase and upgraded Artanis (One of my favourite hero). Imagine the total attack and defense points you will increase in the battle when you have +20 army which can carry extra +20 weapons, +20 items and +20 magics!

The game developer will also introduce new hero for purchase from time to time in order to maintain the excitement of getting new hero and freshness of the hero collection!
